In 2002, swim clubs were being squeezed by insurance companies demanding exorbitantly
high rates. Widerman & Co., an independent insurance agency based in Haddonfield, New Jersey, realized that private, seasonal, non-profit, community swim
clubs deserved better rates and coverage than the insurance industry could deliver.
